DESCRIPTION:Note- This registration is for a two day training on Saturday,
  March 6th, and Sunday, March 7th. Attendance at both sessions is required
 .Create connections and serve your community by volunteering as an Adult L
 iteracy Tutor at Santa Barbara Public Library!Tutors are trained and then 
 matched with an adult English Language Learner or adult English speaker to
  achieve literacy, educational, and work-related goals. Tutors meet with L
 earners once a week for a 60-minute session at the Library and have full a
 ccess to the Literacy Center.Tutors are provided ongoing support through s
 kills trainings, one-to-one sessions with the Literacy Services Librarian 
 and staff, as well as skills workshops and appreciation events.Please revi

  right for you.Parking is available at City lots near the library. The fir
