DESCRIPTION:Note- This registration is for a two day training on Saturday,
  June 5th, and Sunday, June 6th. Attendance at both sessions is required.C
 reate connections and serve your community by volunteering as an Adult Lit
 eracy Tutor at Santa Barbara Public Library!Tutors are trained and then ma
 tched with an adult English Language Learner or adult English speaker to a
 chieve literacy, educational, and work-related goals. Tutors meet with Lea
 rners once a week for a 60-minute session at the Library and have full acc
 ess to the Literacy Center.Tutors are provided ongoing support through ski
 lls trainings, one-to-one sessions with the Literacy Services Librarian an
 d staff, as well as skills workshops and appreciation events.Please review

 ight for you.Parking is available at City lots near the library. The first
