Month Calendar

Calling all high schoolers! Meet with friends to study, work on a project, or draw. Snacks and supplies will be provided, and library staff will be available to help with homework. For teens in 9th - 12th grade. Registration is not required.

Adults, looking to make new friends in a fun and fast-paced way? Join us at the Santa Barbara Public Library for an evening of quick conversations and connections. This event is perfect for meeting new friends. Registration required.

Enjoy the end of the school week with Lego building at the Santa Barbara Public Library!

Get creative with Legos in the Children’s area of the Central Library or try one of our challenges to master your Lego-building skills!

Join the Library on the Go van at the Santa Barbara High School Swap Meet where we will be stocked with mostly adult items, but we’ll also have some children’s items available.

Join the Wilderness Youth Project on an outdoor adventure at Eastside Neighborhood Park. Have fun exploring and learning about the nature around you!

Calling all teens in grades 7-12! Join us for a relaxing crafting session! Head upstairs to the Teen Area and learn to crochet, relax and color, or explore classic crafts like friendship bracelets and keychain making.

The Michael Towbes Library Plaza Opening Community Arts Festival will begin with a ribbon-cutting before performances from CAMA, Flamenco Santa Barbara, the Symphony, Folklorico, and more!

Drop by to learn and play, sing and share stories with your young children. Enjoy the company of other caregivers.
