Reserve a Room

Local organizations and community members may request to reserve certain spaces at the Eastside and Central Libraries for public or private events. All requests are subject to review and approval based on:

  • Staff capacity
  • Availability of space
  • Upcoming library programing

Reservation Guidelines:

  • Requests are reviewed at least once per week.
  • Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance and no more than 3 months ahead of the event date.
  • Rooms are not available outside of regular library hours.

Approval Process:

  • If approved, Library Administration will send further details, including payment submission guidelines to the contact email address listed.
  • If denied, you will be notified by Library Administration.

Note: To reserve the The Montecito Library Meeting Room, contact The Montecito Association at 805-969-2026. This meeting room is operated by The Montecito Association. Santa Barbara Public Library Rules of Use or Charges do not apply.
