Program Description

Details/Detalles

Join Santa Barbara Public Library and community partners on State Street for a fun preschool art experience the second Friday of the month over the summer. Drop in between 2pm and 3pm for an introduction to the art activity and then get started creating! All supplies will be provided, and children will be encouraged to take home their art pieces.

On June 9th we will create beautiful leaf rubbing artwork that you can hang and display at home with the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County. Explore leaves of different shapes, colors, and learn to identify different trees and parts of leaves. This event is one of the Land Trust’s “Discover Outside” events, a week of free, family-friendly activities from June 1st-11th. Everyone is welcome!

Check out books and our monthly maker challenge at the Library on the Go Van too! Find us on State Street, just in front of the Art Museum between Anapamu and Figueroa Streets.
