Join UC Master Gardeners of Santa Barbara County, in partnership with SBPL, for an in-person, research-based presentation on soil preparation.

UC Master Gardener Kit Bonson will discuss:

· The importance of good soil preparation in your garden before planting a garden for vegetables or landscaping

· The use of amendments and mulch to support soil health

· How to test your soil using a simple HANDS-ON jar test
