About Cycling Without Age Santa Barbara
Cycling Without Age is a global movement dedicated to bringing joy and vitality to older adults through shared bicycle rides. Founded in Denmark in 2012, the initiative has expanded to over 50 countries, fostering intergenerational connections through the simple act of cycling. The Santa Barbara chapter now operates 10 trishaws with 50 volunteer pilots, providing over 25 free rides every week from Goleta to Montecito.
SBCAG coordinates CycleMAYnia to encourage bike safety, biking as transportation, and to help new riders get on their bikes. With the inclusive “Bike Your Way” theme, 2025 promises bike activities tailored for all ages, abilities, and cultures.
