Start with Art |State St

Join Santa Barbara Public Library and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art on State Street once a month for a fun preschool art experience. Drop in at 2 or 2:30pm for an introduction to the art activity and then get started creating. All supplies will be provided, and children will be encouraged to take home their art pieces.

Check out books and our monthly maker challenge at the Library on the Go Van too! Find us on State Street, just in front of the Art Museum between Anapamu and Figueroa Streets.

On April 21 SBMA will lead an activity making black and white oil pastel animals and patterns under watercolor wash. Inspired by their "Hollow Brick with Tigers" Qin Dynasty piece.
