Program Description

Details/Detalles

This program is postponed until 3/04/2023 due to rain.

Join the Santa Barbara Public Library and the Santa Barbara Audubon Group for a family birdwatching trip to Lake Los Carneros as part of our Parks Pass Grant programming. This educational opportunity is for adults and families (best for children 4 and up, accompanied by their caregivers). Lake Los Carneros is a County Park where participants can expect to find Freshwater ducks, waterfowl, raptors, and winter woodland birds during this season. Santa Barbara Audubon Field Trip Coordinator Rob Lindsay will teach birdwatching techniques and educate us on Santa Barbara County's birds! Instructions on where to meet and what to bring will be provided after registration. This program is part of our Parks Pass Grant programing, created with funding provided by the State of California, and administered by the California State Library.
