Program Description

Details/Detalles

Join SBPL for a screening of The Public, a film by Emilio Estevez which tackles some of our nation's most challenging issues, homelessness and mental illness and sets the drama inside one of the last bastions of democracy-in-action: your public library. After the film, Library staff will offer a brief discussion of how SBPL is serving our houseless neighbors and programs and policies to address this complicated issue.

This project was supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
