Program Description

Details/Detalles

Join SBPL and community organizers and activists for a workshop on putting into practice the tenets of mutual aid in our work. These workshops will offer concrete tools for organizing, such as how to work in groups, how to foster a collective decision-making process, how to prevent and address conflict, and how to deal with burnout. Anyone with an interest in community work is invited, from the curious to the highly experienced. Part networking and part book discussion, this is a chance to learn how to better help one another and organize and advocate for systems to change.

This project was supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
