Santa Barbara residents are invited to the City of Santa Barbara Open House in De La Guerra Plaza in front of City Hall. Meet staff from every City Department and learn about our efforts to create a pathway toward smart government. 

Take a tour of Council Chambers, Touch-a-Truck, play games and meet City Councilmembers. It’s free and family-friendly with treats for the kids (while supplies last) and entertainment! The Library on the Go van will be on-site to check out books, make library cards, and highlight all the programs and services offered for free by the Library. We'll have lawn games, hands-on activities for kids, and storytime at 2:30 and 4:30 p.m.
