Program Description

Details/Detalles

The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia! Alzheimer's is a fatal disease of the brain that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. It is the most common cause of dementia. The Alzheimer's Association is available in the Santa Barbara community to help individuals and families understand Alzheimer's and dementia, navigate the disease, and receive reliable information and support.

Community Connections Office Hours at SBPL provide an opportunity for community members to easily access social services in the areas of health, mental wellness, nutrition, education, career and more. All are welcome to make appointments or drop in. This program is supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
