Irene Kelly is passionate about the role money plays in our lives. She studied Finance and Entrepreneurship at the University of Utah and, shortly after, began working in the fields of Impact Investing and Poverty Alleviation. Through this work, Irene learned about the importance of financial education both locally and abroad. Years later, she moved to Santa Barbara to work as an Investment Advisor and started volunteering with WEV as a bilingual financial educator. Now, she is excited to work with incredible people every day, empowering clients to achieve their personal and business goals.
“Financial Literacy is a social justice issue and as the CEOs of our own financial journeys, it is up to us to start asking for what we need and deserve.”
WEV is a nonprofit that has empowered women for over 30 years by providing small business and financial education resources in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties.
This class is provided by WEV in partnership with CA's DFPI, SCORE Santa Barbara County, and the information shared is for educational purposes only.
