Celebrate two Vermont-based poets at the "Guess Who's in Town" poetry reading series. Husbands James Crews and Brad Peacock will be sharing from their bestselling book, Love Is for All of Us: Poems of Tenderness & Belonging from the LGBTQ+ Community & Friends, in Central Library's lovely Fireplace Room.
James Crews is the author of Turning Toward Grief: Reflections on Life, Loss & Appreciation, and Breathing Room: Poems for Rest & Retreat as well as five other poetry collections. He is editor of several bestselling anthologies, including The Wonder of Small Things (winner of the New England Book Award), The Path to Kindness (winner of the Nautilus Award), and How to Love the World, which has sold over 100,000 copies to date. Brad Peacock is a veteran, organic farmer, and photographer. He is co-editor of Love Is for All of Us, a bestselling anthology of LGBTQ+ love poems. He is also a published author, and has been featured in The Washington Blade, Vox Populi, and other newspapers throughout the country. He lives with his husband on land that he is rehabilitating with native plants and flowers, slowly returning the ecosystem to a paradise for pollinators and all wildlife.
