Program Description

Details/Detalles

Join the Library on the Go van and the Santa Barbara Dance Institute for a joyful, bilingual early childhood creative dance program at Oak Park! With over 20 years of dance education experience, SB Dance Institute will host a class that engages children in a playful journey of self-discovery, rhythm, and expression. Through dynamic movement, young dancers will explore space, time, and energy as their bodies become canvases for creative exploration.

Guided by rhythm and music, children will develop coordination, balance, and spatial awareness, while also strengthening cognitive skills like problem-solving and creativity. As they twirl, leap, and sway, they’ll learn to communicate emotions and ideas through both verbal and non-verbal expression.

This program fosters a lifelong appreciation for the arts, offering a nurturing space for children to blossom into confident and expressive individuals. Visit https://www.sbdi.org/ for more information.
