Details/Detalles

Join Library on the Go at this year’s Juneteenth SB "HOPE for the PEOPLE" celebration at Plaza Del Mar Park! Juneteenth Santa Barbara is a local celebration of the national recognition of Black Independence Day. This collaborative event showcases Black culture, talent, and joy in Santa Barbara County.

The community is invited to enjoy live local music, dancing, poetry, spoken word, artist exhibitions, storytelling, a kids zone, beer and wine garden, and food trucks. The event will also include the Black Artisan Market, which includes Black-led community organizations showcasing their work.

Browse books for all ages, discover upcoming library events, and explore SBPL’s digital collections. We can’t wait to see you!
