Join Library on the Go at the Pacific Pride Festival at Chase Palm Park Field! This celebration welcomes every generation and identity within the LGBTQ+ community, along with our allies. As Pacific Pride Foundation celebrates 50 years of service, this year’s theme—ROOTED IN PRIDE: Embracing Our Past – Empowering Our Future—honors the trailblazers who came before us, celebrates the strength and resilience of our community today, and looks ahead to a future where all LGBTQ+ identities can thrive. Enjoy a vibrant day filled with festivities, including over 70 local vendors and community organizations, special zones dedicated to Arts, Health, Outdoors, Spirituality, and Social Justice, captivating performances by aerialists, a lively Pride Pet Parade, and fun games, crafts, and interactive activities for kids of all ages. Local food trucks will be available throughout the day.
Pride at the Beach is free and open to everyone, offering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all to celebrate. On-site security will be present throughout the event to help ensure a joyful and secure experience for all attendees.
Be sure to stop by Library on the Go to browse books for all ages, discover upcoming library events, and explore SBPL’s digital collections. We can’t wait to see you!
