As part of this year's summer reading program, the Santa Barbara Public Library presents another MakeSB music showcase featuring Sissyfit, Stood Up, and The Daphnees. Come speak to local organizers! Make a button! Make a zine! Or sign up for a library card, if you haven't already! This event is free and open to the public, all ages welcome!

SISSYFIT (Stockton)
Sad girl goon squad hardcore from Stockton, CA. Vocalist Breanna Rae states the goal of this project is to "create a place where everyone who doesn't feel safe anywhere else, feels safe and heard when and where we play."

Stood Up (Santa Barbara) One of the newest bands in the 805, Stood Up's crossover thrash sound hits you like a strong cuppa coffee.

THE DAPHNEES (Santa Barbara)
From the tarry beaches of Santa Barbara, The Daphnees offer casual garage rock with a twist of riot grrrl get-up-and-go!
