Details/Detalles
Join us on the Michael Towbes Library Plaza for a vibrant, family market to celebrate Hispanic creativity and culture! Entrepreneurs of all ages will sell artisanal, hand-made items thanks to a partnership with the Youth Makers Market.
Experience Hispanic traditions with a special presentation from Oaxacreations as they perform with their colorful, oversized puppets and professional dancers. All are invited to make a "corona de flores" (crown of flowers) with the help of artist Griselda Villalpando. Additional arts and crafts will be provided by staff from the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
Mark your calendar and bring the whole family for a day of fun, creativity, and cultural celebration!
This project was made possible with support from California Humanities, a non-profit partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Visit www.calhum.org.
