Please join us as we explore the lives and work of poets you know and love – and some who will be new to you! Each meeting we’ll focus on the work of a featured poet.

Please feel free to bring a favorite poem by the featured poet to discuss. Copies of poems will also be available at the meetings. All are welcome.

April Poet: Danusha Laméris, a poet and essayist, is a recipient of a Pushcart Prize and was honored by the 2020 Lucille Clifton Legacy Award. She served as the 2018-2020 Poet Laureate of Santa Cruz County. (please note: Danusha will not be joining our group, but we will discuss her poetry!)
