The Michael Towbes Library Plaza Opening Community Arts Festival will begin with a ribbon-cutting before performances from CAMA, Flamenco Santa Barbara, the Symphony, Folklorico, and more! All of Anapamu Street will be closed for tabling from nonprofits across the community with activities for all ages, food trucks, Library tours, Friends of the Library Booksale, and film screenings in the Faulkner Gallery!

SBPL will be giving away free love-themed children’s books and promoting SB Reads programs and events! 

This event is brought to you by the generosity of donors and community members through the Santa Barbara Public Library Foundation and in collaboration with the City of Santa Barbara.
