Details/Detalles
Meet local poets and read their poems at SBPL's Poetry Walk at the Farmers' Market with SBPL’s Library on the Go van. Poems featured in the Poetry Walk were written last fall during an SB Reads ode writing workshop led by Santa Barbara Poet Laureate, Melinda Palacio, where participants learned the basics of how to write an ode that celebrates the particular through language and heightened detail. Get a library card, check out a collection of poetry, and read some odes!
This program is supported by the Academy of American Poets with funds from the Mellon Foundation.
