Join us for a free Spanish workshop on creating a Family Preparedness Plan presented by the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara. This workshop will provide practical tools and resources to help families prepare for unexpected emergencies and ensure that loved ones are protected.
Participants will learn how to:
- Create a personalized preparedness plan for their household
- Gather and organize important documents
- Identify trusted contacts and emergency supports
- Access community resources for additional guidance
The session will include interactive activities, time for questions, and take-home materials in both English and Spanish to help families continue their planning.
This session will be held in Spanish and in person at the Eastside Library, with bilingual staff available, and will also be offered simultaneously via Zoom. Please register to receive the Zoom link. Registration not required for in-person attendance.
For participants joining online, there is an option to pick up the session materials at the Eastside Library a few days before the session. This will allow you to have all necessary materials on hand and follow along in real time during the session.
