Program Description

Details/Detalles

Need help with taxes this year? The VITA program is a free tax preparation service for local Santa Barbara County residents who make $67,000 or less a year. IRS-certified volunteers prepare and electronically file tax returns for qualified individuals or families. A United Way volunteer tax preparer can assist with general tax information, tax preparation, and filing, along with ITIN applications and renewals. Clients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

For special accommodations and or questions about the program, please email ygonzalez@unitedwaysb.org, or call (805) 965-8594. For more information, please visit the United Way of Santa Barbara County website: https://www.unitedwaysb.org/vita
