The Library on the Go will be at Bohnett Park with a ton of books for all ages. Load up on books, get a library card, return items, or just drop by to say hi!

Join SBPL for fun filled Fridays! Explore board games, puzzles, Lotería, role playing games, and more. Tables and games are available on a first come, first served basis. Children are welcome to eat a free lunch while they play!

Children and teens are invited to eat a free, nutritious meal at Central Library as part of the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Lunch will be served on a first come, first served basis - no applications or documentation needed.

Teens: hang out on the Library Plaza as we craft with shells to make custom keepsakes. Craft materials and popsicles will be provided, while supplies last.

Calling all teens in grades 7-12! Join us for a relaxing crafting session! Head upstairs to the Teen Area and learn to crochet, relax and color, or explore classic crafts like friendship bracelets and keychain making.

Join us for a Juneteenth celebration and performance by Santa Barbara Ring Shout Project. Ring Shout is a spiritual, traditional circle dance that enslaved Africans carried out when they were brought to the United States.
