Not sure how to wind a bobbin? Join SBPL and The Crafter’s Library for a two-hour course to learn the basics of sewing with machines. The Crafter’s Library’s expert sewists will demonstrate how to measure and cut fabric to size for your project.

The Library on the Go will be just outside Santa Barbara Junior High School near the path on Quarantina and Cota St. We will be stocked with mostly teen items, but we’ll have some children’s and adult items too.

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to hang out at the Eastside Library for a relaxing and fun time after school. We’ll have crafts, board games, video games, and more! All materials and snacks will be provided.

Teens, join us to get your hands dirty for the community! Learn about organic gardening and support your local community garden in this 90-minute volunteer opportunity for teens in grades 9-12.

Teens are welcome to come and earn 90 mins of community service time every week at the Central Library. Teens will be helping with finding books, organizing library materials, preparing arts and crafts activities and other tasks.
