Join SBPL for fun filled Fridays! Explore board games, puzzles, Lotería, role playing games, and more. Tables and games are available on a first come, first served basis. Children are welcome to eat a free lunch while they play!

Children and teens are invited to eat a free, nutritious meal at Central Library as part of the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Lunch will be served on a first come, first served basis - no applications or documentation needed.

SBPL is hosting a special sleepover party for your stuffed animals! Wear your PJs and join us for a brief storytime, followed by a drop-off period where you’ll leave one stuffed animal with our overnight staff.

Teens: join SBPL and Tidy Seas for a morning beach cleanup at East Beach. Earn community service hours, help our environment, and browse books while learning about SBPL’s summer reading program.

Join us Saturday mornings at the library for fun, interactive learning activities for the whole family! Explore science, math, literacy, and art concepts together in a hands-on, engaging way.

Calling all teens in grades 7-12! Join us for a relaxing crafting session! Head upstairs to the Teen Area and learn to crochet, relax and color, or explore classic crafts like friendship bracelets and keychain making.

Have you ever used Wikipedia and wondered how articles are created?  Do you have an interest in local history and research?

Join us for a gentle, accessible, and all-levels yoga class for expecting or new parents that includes stretching, dynamic movement, conscious breathing, and meditation.

Get creative with Legos at Central Library or try one of our challenges to master your Lego-building skills!
