Explore the world of laser engraving with our Glowforge! With your own creativity, free-hand draw an image and Library staff will engrave it into a wood frame with our Glowforge laser cutter.

High schoolers: interested in playing Dungeons & Dragons? This introductory, 4 week campaign for up to 6 participants in grades 9-12 will be led by a local volunteer Dungeon Master. Make new friends and enjoy this popular game!

Caitlin Swalec is a lifelong open water swimmer who grew up swimming around the lakes of Maine. Since 2019 she has mainly swum along the shores of Santa Barbara, exploring the waters and kelp beds of our 'front yard' in this unique way.

SBPL is hosting a special sleepover party for your stuffed animals! Wear your PJs and join us for a brief storytime, followed by a drop-off period where you’ll leave one stuffed animal with our overnight staff.

Teens: join SBPL and Tidy Seas for a morning beach cleanup at East Beach. Earn community service hours, help our environment, and browse books while learning about SBPL’s summer reading program.
