Join SBPL and Explore Ecology for this hands-on, family gardening class in Franklin Elementary School’s culinary garden. This program teaches gardening and garden vocabulary in a fun and interactive way. Each session is designed for parents, caregivers, and children to participate and learn together. 

This program is best for children 5 years old and up, but younger siblings are welcome. Meet at the entrance to Franklin garden on Soledad Street.

Bilingual Spanish and English speaking staff will be present.

Lunch at the Library is a project of the California State Library, supported with funds from the State of California.
