Come dive into the incredible world of vegetable fermentation!

Join us as registered dietitian Christina Dominguez, explains how this ancient food preservation method can transform ordinary vegetables into flavorful and nutritious living foods.

In this workshop you'll learn the art of fermentation at home, how it can enhance the flavor of your dishes and save you money. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of the power of gut microbes and their role in health and disease prevention and also explore the endless possibilities of incorporating these healthy, living foods into your daily meals.

Make your own jar of sauerkraut and gain knowledge to continue fermenting your own foods at home.

Registration required.

The Sustainably SBPL series is supported in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
