Join us for a free cooking class for kids with a local chef on the Central Library Plaza! All supplies and ingredients to make healthy and delicious creations will be provided. Space is limited, and participation is first come, first serve for children ages 8 to 14.

Executive Chef Emma West will be leading this class. She’s the creator of the fabulous farmers market menu at Satellite on State Street and was the former partner in Santa Barbara's late & famed Julienne Restaurant.

Registration begins at the service desk 30 minutes before the program begins. Children must be present 5 minutes before class starts to participate.

This program is funded in part by Lunch at the Library funds, a project of the California State Library, supported with funds from the State of California.
